What does California Prop 65 mean?

In 1986, California voters approved an initiative to address their growing concerns about exposure to toxic chemicals. That initiative became the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, better known by its original name of Proposition 65. Proposition 65 requires the State to publish a list of chemicals known to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm. This list, which must be updated at least once a year, has grown to include approximately 800 chemicals since it was first published in 1987. Proposition 65 requires businesses to notify Californians about significant amounts of chemicals in the products they purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. By providing this information, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about protecting themselves from exposure to these chemicals. Proposition 65 also prohibits California businesses from knowingly discharging significant amounts of listed chemicals into sources of drinking water. The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program. OEHHA, which is part of the California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal/EPA), also evaluates all currently available scientific information on substances considered for placement on the Proposition 65 list. More information can be found by clicking the link below: http://oehha.ca.gov/prop65/background/p65plain.html

What does "May require additional shipping fee" mean?

This statement can normally be found on bulky or heavy items, which cost more to ship. In these cases, we simply add the additional shipping fee to that item at a reasonable low additional cost. This additional shipping fee is for that item only and does not affect the normal $8.95 for standard shipping. Our standard shipping fee and will be added to the shipping cost. For example, an item that has an additional shipping fee of $4.95 and standard shipping is selected. The final shipping cost for that item will be $13.90 ($4.95 $8.95). Details of how much the additional shipping can be found in the “Product Specs” tab of each item.

What is the difference between Pure Perfume, Eau de Parfumes, Eau de Toilette, and Eau de Cologne?

The difference is simply a matter of the amount of concentration of oils in the fragrance. The highest concentration is in pure perfume (or Parfumes). Next would be Eau de Parfumes, the Eau de Toilette, and finally Eau de Cologne. Some manufactures make a solid perfume, solid perfume is as strong as a pure perfume however it is in a gel-like consistency, Eau de Toilette and Eau de Cologne are generally interchangeable, especially in Men's fragrances. After Shave has the least amount of oils. The higher the concentration the longer your fragrance will last, and the less you need to apply.
